About Us
Gautam Sahkari Awas Samiti is a registered Society under U. P. cooperative Society Act 1965 (Reg. No.2215 , dated 31-12-1996) with the sole object to construct residential flats for its members. The society is the owner of the building with the land apartment to it, which building is known as Richmond Park situated at Sec-6, Plot No. 9 Vsundhara Ghaziabad as per the conveyance dated 1999-2000 executed by sub-registrar office.
Vasundhara, the area in which the society operates, is a well-planned sub-city developed by the U.P. Awas-Vikas Parishad. The locality boasts well-defined residential, commercial, and recreational spaces. Its strategic location provides easy access to Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad, making it an ideal place for both residential and business purposes. Objectives and Functions
The main objectives of the Gautam Sahkari Awas Samiti are:
- To promote the social and economic betterment of its members through self-help and mutual aid, in alignment with the Co-operative Principles outlined in the First Schedule of the U.P. Cooperative Society Act 1965.
- To ensure the provision of safe, secure, and quality housing facilities for its members, enhancing their overall well-being.
- To issue shares to members for the purpose of financing the activities and operations of the society.
- To raise the necessary funds to support the construction and other business operations of the society.
- To look after the welfare of the members and organize activities aimed at improving their quality of life.
The secondary functions of the society include:
- To promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle by supporting environmental protection and development initiatives.
- To secure essential health needs for the members, including access to clean water, safe food, and sanitation, while promoting environmentally responsible consumer practices.
- To protect and preserve the physical environment, including efforts to prevent pollution, ensure clean air and water, and safeguard water resources such as groundwater reserves and rainwater harvesting systems.
- To collaborate with national and international organizations, other societies, corporations, and governmental or private entities to address various challenges.
- To organize medical care and relief programs for those in need, particularly in the wake of natural calamities, epidemics, or other emergencies.
- To educate the public on general health and wellness issues, and to engage in initiatives related to the education of both children and adults.
- To raise funds and resources to support the society’s objectives through lawful means, including investments, donations, and cultural or community programs.
- To apply for and utilize government or municipal grants to support the society’s initiatives and enhance its activities.
